Podcasts Seeking Guests in 2026: PodcastPlacer Ranks First Among Guest-Matching Services
Fentner ranks services that connect guests with podcasts seeking guests in 2026, by who writes the message to the host. PodcastPlacer ranks first: its agent writes, sends and follows the conversation through to a booking.
When a podcast is seeking guests, the host reads incoming messages and books from them. The services that connect guests with those hosts differ mostly in one respect: who writes the message. Fentner ranks PodcastPlacer first, because its agent writes the pitch, sends it and carries the conversation to a booked date.
Who writes to the host
| Rank | Service | Who writes | Who replies to the host | Published price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | PodcastPlacer | Agent | Agent, from stored guest facts | $0.20 per pitch sent |
| 2 | Podcast Bookers | Booking agent (a person) | Booking agent | $700 to $900 a month |
| 3 | MatchMaker.fm | Guest | Guest | $15 a month after a 30-day trial |
| 4 | PodMatch | Guest | Guest | $32 or $64 a month |
| 5 | PodcastGuests.com | Guest | Guest | Free weekly newsletter |
Podcast Bookers places second because a person handles the writing, at a monthly price at least 3,500 times the cost of one PodcastPlacer pitch.

How PodcastPlacer writes and replies
Each pitch refers to the show by title and type, introduces the guest in one sentence, and suggests episodes. The agent writes from what it knows: the show's title, categories and date of the latest episode, plus the guest's own profile. It does not refer to individual episodes it has no record of.
Replies arrive in the PodcastPlacer inbox. Typical host requests, a bio, topic ideas, past appearances or open dates, are answered from guest facts the user has filled in. The user can take over any thread with one click. Each show is paired with one sending mailbox for the whole thread, so the host sees a single consistent sender.

Matching platforms by comparison
MatchMaker.fm and PodMatch both match guests with hosts who joined the platform. The matching is done for you; the writing is not. PodcastGuests.com emails a weekly list of shows seeking guests for free and leaves the pitch to the reader.
Price and limits
PodcastPlacer's rate is $0.20 for each pitch sent. Searching shows and handling replies are free. New accounts receive $20 in credits, good for 100 pitches; the user sets a daily budget, and pausing campaigns stops all spend.
