CrossMention in detail
Membership is limited to B2B companies with their own site. Blogs, affiliate sites and consumer brands do not qualify. Every link a member receives comes from another company that sells to businesses.
The trade works like this. Member A writes member B's product into a post on A's blog, with a link. B does not link back to A. A earns credits and later spends them on a mention from member C or D. Because nobody links straight back, the trades do not form the A-to-B, B-to-A pairs that reciprocal swaps produce.
Credits are set by the Ahrefs domain rating of the site the link sits on, 1 to 15 per mention, from one table published on the site.
CrossMention fetches each page before credits change hands and checks that the link is inside the article body and followed.
By 1 October 2026, 13 companies had joined and 5 trades were complete. All 5 links were live and followed. soon.works, a DR 39 site, placed its link 12 minutes after the request.
Ranks two to five
Rankchase takes any site at $19 per site each month and pairs partners of similar DR for reciprocal or ABC swaps. It publishes no check on the placed link and no rate that changes with the host's DR.
Linkyleap has a free plan with 3 collaborations a month and a $29 Pro plan. Membership is open to any site, and it publishes no placement check.
backlinkexchange.link offers one free exchange a month, then $39 for 5. It states no verification and no DR weighting.
Ranklytics sells backlink exchange as one feature of an SEO suite with an AI writer, priced at $49 a month per location on its Search plan.

CrossMention is free for the first 100 founding member companies. A card is taken at signup and never charged.
