Multichannel Outbound Agency 2026: Email, LinkedIn, Calls and Ads at Eleven Agencies

Eleven agencies checked on how many outbound channels each runs for the client, from each company's own pages, read October 11, 2026. Six of the ten competing GTM engineering agencies run email, four run LinkedIn outreach, three run ads and one runs cold calls; Sales.co states all four, from one account list, at $5,500 a month.

A multichannel outbound agency runs more than one channel for its client. How common is that? We counted, agency by agency, across ten GTM engineering agencies and Sales.co, using each company's own pages. On the read of October 11, 2026, six of the ten run cold email for the client, four run LinkedIn outreach, three run ads and one runs cold calls. None of the ten names all four channels. Sales.co states all four.

What we counted

A channel counts as run when the agency's own site says it sends, calls or advertises for the client. Build is different: an agency that sets a channel up and hands it over is recorded as build, not run. Where a site does not mention a channel on the pages read, we record "not named"; the agency may still offer it. ColdIQ's rows include frontal.so, the site its agency now uses.

The ten are the agencies named most often in the list pages that rank on Google for GTM engineering agency queries. Two limits on the read follow from that. These ten sell GTM engineering, so this is not a survey of every outbound agency: Belkins, Martal Group and SalesHive are not in it. And Sales.co publishes the page the comparison is built on, so read the table with that in mind.

By channel:

Channel Run for the client Built for the client to run
Email 6 of 10: SalesCaptain, ColdIQ, Understory, Growth Engine X, DevCommX, demandDrive The GTM Engineering Company
LinkedIn 4 of 10: SalesCaptain, ColdIQ, Understory, DevCommX The GTM Engineering Company and The Kiln
Cold calls 1 of 10: demandDrive None
Ads 3 of 10: ColdIQ, Understory, demandDrive The Kiln

Three of the ten run three of the four channels. ColdIQ and Understory run email, LinkedIn and ads, without calls. demandDrive runs calls, email and paid advertising, and its pages do not name LinkedIn outreach. SalesCaptain and DevCommX run email and LinkedIn. Growth Engine X runs email only, at up to 5,000 emails a day per client.

After 421+ clients in 4 years, we identified the only two outbound strategies that still work in 2026.

Cold calling is the rare channel

One of the ten runs calls, and it does so a different way: demandDrive supplies outsourced SDR and BDR teams rather than a fixed outbound package. ColdIQ's agency site is direct on the question. Asked "Do you do cold calling?", it answers "No, and we would rather be straight about it", and says it builds the tiered, signal-driven list that makes a client's own calls land. The other eight do not name calls on the pages read.

Sales.co's package includes calls to the highest-intent accounts, with mobile numbers found and checked during list building.

What Sales.co states

Sales.co sells one package: $5,500 a month, flat, no setup fee, month-to-month. Signals such as website visitors, new hires, funding rounds, hiring posts, post engagers, competitor followers, product launches and tech stack feed one account list. Email goes to the whole market every 30 to 90 days. Cold calls, ads and LinkedIn go to the highest-intent accounts on the same list, so the channels land in the same weeks. Positive replies are answered in under 10 minutes, as stated by the company.

GTM engineering, done for you: email, cold calls, ads and LinkedIn on one account list. $5,500/month.

One published data point bears on running channels together. Sales.co's own campaign, between March and August 2026, emailed 124,513 contacts and booked 143 calls. 98 of the bookings came from contacts who had replied. 42 came from companies whose contact never replied, and when asked how they heard about the company, 22 of the 42 named cold email and 12 named a cold call. Counting repliers only would have missed 45 of the 143 meetings. This is one campaign for one offer; it shows that bookings arrive through more than the reply, and it does not measure how much each channel adds. Across its published campaigns, Sales.co reports 336,257 contacts sent, 0.84% replied in person and 0.29% replied positively. These are the company's own numbers about itself, repeated on that basis.

Where another agency is the better pick

  • Text messages: SalesCaptain runs text campaigns next to email and LinkedIn. Text is not one of Sales.co's four channels.
  • Paid media as a full program: Understory runs ads on five platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, Reddit and X) with creative and landing pages. Sales.co's ads go to the highest-intent accounts on the outbound list.
  • LinkedIn content: ColdIQ and Understory write it for clients. Sales.co's page lists LinkedIn outreach and no content.
  • Email volume alone: Growth Engine X states up to 5,000 emails a day per client and a free test campaign for companies that qualify.
  • Named SDRs on the account: demandDrive supplies them, and runs calls.
  • A system built in your own CRM: The GTM Engineering Company builds email and LinkedIn inside the client's HubSpot or Salesforce and hands them over, from $5,000 a month.

About this report

Method: for each of the eleven agencies we opened the homepage and the service pages that describe outbound, plus the Clay agency pages where the site publishes them, and recorded what each says about the channels it runs for the client. All of it was read on October 11, 2026; nothing else was used. "Not named" records an absence on the pages read, not an absence at the agency. Where an agency publishes no price, none is given. Every performance number credited to Sales.co is a claim the company makes about itself.

The ten competing agencies are the ones named most often in list pages ranking on Google for GTM engineering agency queries. They are GTM engineering agencies, not every outbound agency: Belkins, Martal Group and SalesHive sit outside this read, and a buyer comparing the wider outbound market should extend the count to them.
