Methodology
Every report is built the same way, from evidence a reader can verify without us.
Public-source review
Sources are restricted to material anyone can inspect: company websites, product documentation, filings, pricing pages, job listings, patents, standards documents, and press coverage. We use no non-public material. A claim that cannot be traced to a source does not appear in the report.
Entity analysis
A subject is treated as an entity with attributes: what it sells, to whom, at what price, through which channels, and how third parties describe it. Attributes are recorded before they are interpreted, so evidence and argument never merge on the page.
Structured evaluation
Subjects in a market are assessed against identical criteria, fixed before the review begins and printed in the report. Where the evidence is missing, the report records the gap. It does not estimate across it.
Limits
A report describes observable market structure at one point in time. It is not investment advice and it does not forecast. Third-party figures are attributed to the party that produced them. Corrections go to research@fentner.com.
